Meet the Violin

This 5 day crash course covers everything from the very first time you open the case, to beginning to read musical notation, rhythm basics and making a good sound through interactive games, movement, active listening and crafts!

We limit our class size to 8 kids and offer both Junior and Senior age levels to ensure everyone has the opportunity to meet the **violin!

**Please note that there are a limited number of violins available for use during the week. It is highly recommended that attendees rent a violin from Wentworth Music in Kelowna so they can take instruments home with them! Rentals are approx. $18-28/month.

Get ready for five unforgettable days of music, movement, creativity, and confidence-building fun! Our 5-Day Performance & Play Camp is designed especially for kids who love to sing, play, and express themselves in exciting new ways. 

Each day is packed with interactive games, group activities, and creative challenges that keep campers engaged, laughing, and learning. Through music-based games and team-building exercises, kids develop confidence, coordination, and communication skills — all while having a blast.

Campers will explore:
Singing skills – vocal warm-ups, harmonies, and learning fun, age-appropriate songs
Solo performance skills – building stage presence, overcoming stage fright, and shining with confidence
Group performance skills – teamwork, blending voices, choreography, and ensemble skills
Creative expression – movement, rhythm games, and performance-based activities

Throughout the week, children will gain confidence in themselves, learn how to support their peers, and discover the joy of performing both solo and as part of a group. 

The camp wraps up with a special end-of-week showcase performance, where campers get to share what they’ve learned!

Perfect for absolute beginners and budding stars alike, this camp creates a supportive, environment where every child feels encouraged to shine.

August 4-7th , (4 days only) 9AM-1 2PM$280 per child
