Lesson Information and Rates
I welcome students of all ages and levels and cater to each students unique learning needs. My main goal is always to provide a safe, and encouraging environment where the student is able to build confidence in their playing and feel a sense of accomplishment.
Methodologies: It is my firm belief that no one way is the “correct” way to learn the violin and what is “correct” for one student might not be for another. I am an experienced RCM, Suzuki and fiddle instructor but will often include selections of pieces and exercises from other methodologies (eg: ABC’s of violin, fiddle magic, Sassmannshaus) to ensure my students are being nurtured to the best of their abilities.
I offer lessons in increments of 30, 45, and 60 minutes and teach at the West Kelowna Music School at 1110 Stevens Road in West Kelowna and at the Penticton Academy of Music at the Leir House in Penticton.
My private lesson rate is $71.00/hr billed monthly, with fees due on the first lesson of each month.
Group** classes:
NEW group classes for 2026-
West Kelowna Music School Orchestra-Rehearsals: Fridays, 11:00-12:30 PM, starting February 6th through June 12th (no rehearsals, February 13th, April 3, May 15 to accommodate the long weekends).
$200 registration fee, includes a music folder.

Violin Choir -(ages 8-12) 10-11 AM January 31, Feb21, March 7, April 11, 25, May 9, 23, June 6 (8 classes total!)
$125 includes a book for each student!
Students learn how to play in a group, how to listen to other players, and the fundamentals of chamber music, as well as build confidence and experience in performing and improvement in note reading and playing by ear
